SHAREHOLDERS – Opening Bonspiel – Winners & Losers

The Shareholders held their Opening Bonspiel on Wednesday 16th September and 8 teams competed in this fun game.

Old faces were back and it was pleasing to see some new ‘shareholders’ participating.

We all enjoyed the game: we all enjoyed the banter: we certainly enjoyed the buffet and thoroughly enjoyed the good humour in rewarding Sandy Millar wooden smarties (no only kidding 🙂 . However, congratulations went to our deserving winners also and it was nice to see Jane Morton in the winning team.

Shareholders play on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm and Lanark has 4 shares which can be used by members (at no charge). Therefore, if you wish more curling and would be interesting in this then please let Anne Hood know. The SHAREHOLDERS play two leagues – one prior to Christmas and one from January-March. There is also a Pairs Competition if you really want more curling!
