CMP – New Monklands_16 – Lanark Retains Trophy – Yippee!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the members representing Lanark CC at the annual New Monklands/Lanark challenge league. Last night was the final stage of the league : scores were par at 3 games all : 3 games were being played last night. Two of our rinks won their game therefore Lanark retained the Challenge Shield by 5 games to 4.

Lanark’s 3 rinks were skipped by Tom Steele, Brian Stephenson and Bob Thomson. Congratulations to everybody involved. Your photo will be taken at the prize-giving……

Hi

After tonight’s round of the above competition I can reveal that both clubs are level pegging, hence, it all depends on next month’s 3-game play. Whoever wins 2 games takes home the trophy.

Well were off and sliding in this year’s NEW MONKLAND TROPHY . Unfortunately it wasn’t to such an auspicious start with New Monkland’s taking two of the three games 🙁 . Lets hope for a better outcome on in next month’s games.
