Following on from Anne’s email – just not quite right – in that we did the 5 bit hat trick this year (and more). Anne had missed Bob’s (BT) rink wining the LIR’s – West of Scotland. Unfortunately it wasn’t quite a clean sweep at the LIR with Bill’s (BJ) doing not so well in the Lanarkshire League – but hey – c’est la vie!

CONGRATULATIONS to Bob Thomson, Alistair Mackintosh, Tom Steele and Jack Hood who defeated Coulter CC this afternoon (5-2) to win the Men’s Senior League.

What a season Lanark has just completed by winning all 3 Province titles (hat trick) ie

Lanark Province Knockout championship

Lanarkshire League – Division A championship

Men’s Senior League

We’ve also retained all trophies from our 3 Interclub games ie Boswall CC, Cambusnethan CC and New Monklands CC.

In addition, we picked up the Lawrie Trophy from the Biggar and Upperward Province.

I can honestly say that the above team were fair chuffed after their victory – and, deservedly so! <email>

Well well, another possible success for Lanark @ the LIR, following on from Bob’s (BT) rink’s success in the West Scotland (HERE), with Alistair’s (AK) rink in the SENIOR MEN’S LEAGUE?

And it’s down to the wire with the only one game remaining to be played in the whole competition – between Alistair & Bryce Smith (Coulter) – Bryce on 12 Points – having won all his games and Alistair on 11 Points (a peel in one of his) – checkout the table – HERE.

So lads all the best for the forthcoming game. We’ll be rooting for you.
