Well we did again – just! Retaining ‘Dino’ at the annual friendly get together with CAMBUSNETHAN CC.

And a win or lose came down to the last stone being delivered by Douglas Burt against Alistair (AK). There was a nice nest of Lanark stones sitting around the back 4′ and Douglas’s stone was looking good to draw to the front and outcount. But the stone slightly overdid it allowing a Lanark stone to outcount for a one. As a result the overall games ‘peeled’ on Shots & Ends!

And on further discussion it appears that the club who presently holds the trophy – retains it! Phew!!

So Dino’s back with us for another year.
