LCC – Xmas Bonspiel_17 – The ‘Hoodlums’ Win Either way

Well a change in fortunes this year. Donald (DM) was ‘top-dog’ in last year’s Bonspiel whereas this year he was bottom. Such are the ‘ups & downs’ of the roaring game. And it came down to Jack’s last stone to remove Anne’s counter for a 1. But it ended up a ‘hinger-ooter’ (BJ terminology) just missing and giving Anne the 1 and Jack down -1 for an overall – Anne +5 Jack +4.

TABLE & STANDINGS

Unfortunately, as last year, numbers were down. This year’s Return showed a total of 16 members taking part, but unfortunately there were a few call-off’s . Fortunately Anne (AH) was able to stand-in to keep the numbers up and of course was the winner of the Yuill Log (so either way in due course the Yuill log will inhabit ‘Hoodlum Towers’ 🙂 ) .
