Now this is a holiday with a difference. Well it certainly was for one of our members Bill Tennant (and Lilias) and previous members Catherine and Stewart Toy.
Nothing like a tropical storm to knock your best-laid-plans. Fortunately everyone is safe.

I don’t know if you have seen the news today…. Lanark couples rescued from a 50ft. boat off Thailand. Bill Tennant involved in rescue after boat struck by lightning. Sun news paper has photos of the group outside restaurant and a few of the boat which has been destroyed. Also on BBC news at lunchtime.
