The Galloway – Were Oot!

Lanark played in the GALLOWAY semi-final last night against Coulter. But unfortunately we (SM GM JH HC) were out classed by a Coulter rink in fine form – James Moffat, Bryce Smith, Neil Lang & George Moffat.

And well done to Biggar, who were playing Lesmahagow, on the adjacent sheet, with a very close game. It came down to the Lesmahagow Skip’s (Jim Stewart) final stone counting for three (or two with Ends) to win, but it didn’t come off.

So Coulter will play Biggar on the 9th March in the FINAL. Good luck to both teams.
