“RINK CHAMPIONSHIP
This highly coveted national title sees curlers come together in their clubs to compete first in the local ice rink qualifier and proceed to the national finals. An enjoyable weekend towards the end of the season, the finals combine high quality curling with camaraderie…………..”
And checking the RCCC, Rink Championships – STANDINGS, the following LIR based clubs have been winners.
1994: (Lesmahagow CC), Lockhart Steele, David Bell, John Muir; Jack Muir
1976: (Hamilton & Thornyhill CC), George Raeburn Willie Frame, Allan Frame, Ian Hamilton

Interestingly, as the LIR CAME INTO BEING IN 1967, Hamilton & Thornyhill, being the first Club to represent the Rink – won? (and as you may see Alex Torrance’s name is listed as Skip and Third?), and some nine years later in 1976.
